‘Co-operation Reborn’ is an innovative project to revive contemporary co-operation in Rochdale and reposition our traditional museum as an active force for social change. We are looking for local people to take part in a series of interactive and immersive workshops reflecting on our co-operative heritage, understanding co-operative values and principles and exploring the role co-operation can play in communities. The ultimate goal of ‘Co-operation Reborn’ is to reignite the original vision of the Rochdale Pioneers and motivate a group of local people to form a contemporary co-operative.
- Do you live or work in Rochdale Borough?
- Do you want to improve your local community?
- Do you want to learn about co-operatives and explore the co-operative model?
- Can you to commit to participating in a series of six workshops held on Saturdays from January to March 2017 from 10am to 3pm (full schedule in application pack)?
